Mr. T vs Chuck Norris
Scott writes to ask: Who would win in a fight, Chuck Norris or Mr. T? The only way to give a real, definative answer to this question - would be to convince both champions to fight. Then of course, there would have to be a few parameters, like the length of the fight, and if it would be a “best two of three” or a one chance one time deal. Given that both of them are a bit past their prime these days (Chuck was born in 1940 and so is 64, and Mr. T - born in 1952 - is 56) and far more into pursuits other than the athletic endeavors which first brought them to fame, getting them to stage a fight just for us is probably unlikely So all I can offer you is my personal opinion. First, Mr. T has Chuck by 12 years. Reaction time and endurance decreases as one ages - no matter how physically active you remain. While Mr. Norris is a six time World Champion in karate, Mr. T is not only a student of the martial arts, he is an accomplished wrestler - giving him more than one discipline to fall back upon in what I would assume is an “no holds barred” fight. So I’m going to come out for Mr. T as the probable winner. I’m sure that someone else could give you an equally good argument for Chuck as the probable winner. For instance, from what I can find out about their lives today - Chuck is still active in physical fitness, while Mr. T seems to be concentrating on creative pursuits - which might well give Chuck an edge. But it’s fun to think about. Thanks for asking. Summer Posted: Tuesday 12th February 2008, 5:55 PM |
