For the more complicated cases and situations, always seek the advice of a professional lawyer. They cost money, but it will give you a much better ability to present your case in a court and give you a much better chance of having the contact with your child that you require. You may be able to have an out of court settlement with your ex-partner, which will forgo the need for a lawyer, but otherwise it is important you are well represented.
