Crappy British Weather

Donna asks “What percentage of Britons go abroad each year?”

Statistics from 2005 suggest that 66.4 million Britons traveled abroad with an average of 3% rise each year. So this year that would be 70.4 million Britons. 60,587,000 Britons lived in Britain in mid 2006 (as part of the census). This seems to suggest that 116% of Britons will travel abroad this year. This is not a true statement, as many (luck gits/)families will enjoy (lucky gits) 2 foreign holidays or (LUCK &$£&s) more than 2 holidays. Statistics on this are very hard to come by, as a lot of holidays are fairly anonymous, and a lot of tracking would be required. As a sensible guestimate from people I know in England, this figure would really lie at about 70 or 80%.

Hope this helps
