Sticky Balls

“Hi, I’m decorating an apartment for a man (my grandson, actually). I’m

trying to glue billiard balls to a metal tray. Any suggestions as to how

to get them to adhere to the metal and each other? Thanks in advance.

Linda Louisiana”

Epoxy resin is wonderful for this job, as it sticks to almost anything (so

much better than super glue, which sticks to almost everything you DON’T want it to.)

Be careful when you apply it, as it sets in about 10 mins, so only prepare the mixture immediately before application, and leave to set fully over night. It wont be possible to achieve the correct results unless you place it on a backing/frame, and hoist it later. Otherwise you might be there all night holding balls to the wall! Otherwise super glue is a long shot, very long shot (pardon the punn!), and will require the same careful handling, but much quicker drying time.

Epoxy resin is available from most hardware stores.
