Someone wrote to ask: How do you measure your head for a hat?
Your hat size can vary as you gain or lose weight, age, or change your hair style. So even if you know your hat size, if it has been some years since you bought a hat, it is a good idea to measure again before ordering one. Using a tape measure (a soft one, such as those used for sewing) wrap it around the widest part of your head above the eyebrows and ears - right where you would like the hat to fit. It is a good idea to check twice or three times, just to be sure.
Use the chart below to convert your measurement to hat size. Be aware that sizing can vary somewhat due to the hat style or manufacturer, just like shoes or other clothing.
