Shakespeare's Sonnets

No, I have not personally. I suspect it is my loss. The high school I attended was wanting to be very progressive (at the time - 70s) and did not teach any of the classics. Omnivorous reader that I am, I have made an effort to read many of the great classics of literature - but I find Shakespeare's language a bit much to muck through. However, I do have a few of his sonnets available as poems on my Fre-ecards.com site!

My own poetry preferences run towards Rumi and Kahlil Gibran, Sherman Alexie amd Maya Angelou. I really enjoy "cowboy poets", too.
