Brittany Spears doesn't wear panties?

Well, you know I live a sort of sheltered life when it comes to pop culture. Did Brittany flash her panty-less-ness or something? Just got my list of top keywords for the week and Brittany has at least temporarily bumped porn out of the number one spot. *rolling eyes*

Yeah, well, I wanted to share pictures of OUR GOATS!!!

Meet Cinnamon (left) and Sweet Pea (right)

Sweet Pea is the photo hog - every time she hears the camera beeping she looks at me

Cinnamon knows even weeds are greener on the other side of the fence

Cinnamon finally poses

My City Boy Turned Rancher
Look how DARK he is getting, look how long his hair has gotten, look how much weight he lost - dayum he is looking GOOD.

Okay, that's it for goat pictures!

The man had an interview today. He thinks it went very well. Think good thoughts - we think this would be a really good job for him.

I have a whole bunch of work I think I'm going to get done today - plus it is errand day and we have to do laundry and buy groceries and all that stuff - so I can't stay long - but I had to show off our goats. They are cute and loveable and sweet and enjoy taking their humans for nice long walks on leash even! They're in the mule pen here - where they have just started work - as you can tell by the weeds up to Cinnamon's neck. Today they are in their usual chicken coop pen (it is more secure if we have to leave them alone) which Cinnamon by herself has really chewed down from being "is there a goat in there" to just a few patches that are still over her head. Now that she has Sweet Pea to help she is much happier and between them they're getting a lot more done.

I did a bit of reading on my Nigerian Dwarf Goats (that's what they are) and found out they come in pinto and dalmatian spots as well as solid colors, are excellent dairy goats, and can have up to five kids at a time, up to three times a year!

So my next big ambition is to find a nice pinto billy, breed the girls once and see if we like goat milk! We've got lots and lots of tumbleweeds - and they seem to like to eat them - so everyone is happy!

Oh - we got our very first mail yesterday, too. Well, first "real" mail, you know, not a bill or something. It was a "Happy Yule" from Shaun & Rachel - awwwwwwwwwwww. Sigh. Miss them.

I have it with me today - going to use it as proof of address for both of us so we can get our library cards. Whoot!

Blessedbe
