Pretend You Don't See Her by Mary Higgins Clark
Pretend You Don't See Herby Mary Higgins Clark
Ms. Clark does it again. Pretend You Don’t See Her is yet another fine suspense novel. One thing you really have to respect – and appreciate – is while Mary Higgins Clark has written many spine tingling suspense novels, no two are alike. No potboilers here. No template.
In Pretend You Don’t See Her, Ms. Clark takes us into the Witness Protection Program. She makes us understand why people, in spite of the dangers, would choose to “escape” from the program, too.
There’s just a touch of believable romance here, too (no explicit sex, sorry) for those who just can’t read a book without some romantic interest.
This book is a great one to curl up with for an evening of reading.
