And moving is what I’m going to be doing for the next few weeks.
First, I’d like you to take a few minutes and peruse these novel excerpts, and then share your opinion with me - which novel should I write next?

Third - two times this week I have had people contact me asking if they may please use my original clip art to create products that they intend to sell for their own monetary benefit. Their reason for why I should give them my work for free is that they are just small business people trying to get a start.
After eight years of providing free clipart and free coloring pages on the Internet, I am now earning approximately $20 per month on Adsense ads on those sites. Each month I pay $60 for my Internet access, $20 for my webhosting, and spend six to eight hours or more working on these websites every single day. I have created many works of art to fulfill requests. And in that time I have had exactly two people actually pay me for original artwork for their logos.
Your thank yous and praise are very nice - but when it comes time to make a car payment, the loan company doesn’t seem to regard them as legal tender. I earned more in three hours scrubbing out toilets in a motel, than I make a month doing artwork. Apparently, toilet scrubbing skills are more valuable than artistic talent.
I would also like to point out that you may put my artwork on various products available through my Zazzle store. My Zazzle store currently earns approximately $10 PER YEAR.
Today I finally realized that I cannot blame the people who write me. By making my work available to the public for free, I have essentially told you that it is worthless. So that is going to change. If you want some free clipart or coloring pages, I suggest you get to my websites very soon and download them. They will be removed and replaced with links to search engines, ads, and my Zazzle store and eBay auctions.
That is all.
I have not made a final decision regarding Color-Your-Own. I may begin charging a membership or subscription fee, or install something that will allow you to pay for each drawing you wish to download. I may simple remove the entire website. Feel free to write with your suggestions. Maybe I will start bombarding you with pop-up ads like the other “free” coloring sites do, and also just start using public domain art instead of sharing my original work, like the other “free” coloring sites do.
If someone is interested in buying the whole kit-n-caboodle and has a reasonable offer to make and money in hand, feel free to contact me.

This artist contacted me on Squidoo and mentioned her horse coloring book. It looks like a really nice coloring book and it is so uncommon to find one that is all horses and well done that I wanted to be sure and give you guys a link to it. No affiliation, unless you consider that I like seeing a fellow artist do well.
Because I am really tired of spending three hours a day doing drawings for a website that earns me $12 a month, that I pay $20 in hosting to keep going, you won’t be seeing as many new drawings as you used to at Color-Your-Own.com. If this doesn’t please you, consider making a donation, purchasing coloring books through the list to your left, clicking on the ads on the site, or even advertising on this site that gets over 1000 visits PER DAY for FREE coloring pages.
If you are one of those folks who think artists don’t deserve to make money on their art, but you deserve to use it for free - Fuck you.

The good news for Gorillas is a team recently discovered that we may have twice as many of them still living in their wild habitat in the Congo as we previously thought. I have a major thing for dragons. I used to draw dragons all day long - when I was in high school I didn’t own a notebook without dozens of dragons in the margins and across the pages. So how come there are no dragons up at Color-Your-Own.com? Good question!
Thus today I remedied that - with three fanciful dragons.
The first is sort of a little pun fun, a Dragon - Fly Coloring Page with a bit of dragon, and a bit of dragonfly. After all, both of them are favorite creatures of mine. The second is a Guardian Dragon Coloring Page. I used to draw these for friends who had nightmares, fears of the dark, or kids that wanted a big strong protector to hang over their bed and keep them safe at night. I left it very plain so you can make the “wall” it is peeking over match your headboard or wall or just whatever.
Last but hardly least is the Lion-tailed Dragon Coloring Page. I have to admit, my dragons take on a life of their own. So I might sit down thinking “something of a Celtic styled dragon would be good” and by the time I’ve got pen to paper (or staff to tablet in this case) he has ideas of his own; “How about goat like horns? And a mane like a horse? And the tail of a lion!” and there you go. Well, I hope you like him!

The person who requested the Fjords asked for Fjord ponies. Since I wasn’t sure, I checked it out on the Internet - seems the Norweigan Fjords are called both horses and ponies, although the registry is called the Norweigan Fjord Horse Registry. So - I’m going with calling them Norweigan Fjord Horses, and you’ll find them in the main index under Horse Coloring Pages (at liberty, and under saddle). With all that sorted out - here they are!

Well, we are at last back to our regularly scheduled program of three new coloring pages every weekday (give or take exciting ranch happenings like loose horses and runaway goats). By request, I’ve added four Welsh Corgi dogs - the Pembroke, Cardigan, and Fluffy, and an irresistible puppy!

Heloooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Google? So I did all this updating, all this tweaking and guess what? Google had their monthly dance and Color-Your-Own.comis STILL not listed if you search for coloring pages, or free printable coloring pages. This here blog, only shows up under my name - never under coloring pages or blogs. I’m seriously getting frustrated, since coloring page sites with four pages and tons of advertising show up much higher, and blogs that are posted in once a year or so with one coloring page, yah, they show up. HUMPH.
Okay, whining and griping done.
Monday we’ll be back to our regularily scheduled program of three new coloring pages or so per day. We shall simply soldier on despite being ignored 
because clearly you folks are finding me SOMEHOW. LOL. Forgive my brief fall into negativity - I’m still grieving really.
