I am very pleased to announce that Michael Tyler of CarveBuddy.com and I have made an agreement for the line drawings from Color-Your-Own.com to be made into patterns for the CompuCarve and CarveWright advanced woodworking systems. Mr. Tyler (who is a great guy by the way) has already created the kangaroo pattern from one of the drawings. Doesn’t it look good?

I am going to credit this directly to the changes I have made in the last few weeks. My mindset has gone from giving away my art and hoping for pennies from Adsense, to selling my art. And within days along comes an excellent offer for royalties for the use of some of my drawings. Thank you Michael Tyler!

Most of my time this month has gone into working towards becoming a Giant Squid at Squidoo.com. If you get a minute, visit my lensography and learn a lot more about me! Browse, read the lenses I’ve written, and hand out some stars or sign the guestbooks. I’d really appreciate it!

Next month I’ll get to work on some new Halloween coloring pages.

Heloooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Google? So I did all this updating, all this tweaking and guess what? Google had their monthly dance and Color-Your-Own.comis STILL not listed if you search for coloring pages, or free printable coloring pages. This here blog, only shows up under my name - never under coloring pages or blogs. I’m seriously getting frustrated, since coloring page sites with four pages and tons of advertising show up much higher, and blogs that are posted in once a year or so with one coloring page, yah, they show up. HUMPH.

Okay, whining and griping done.

Monday we’ll be back to our regularily scheduled program of three new coloring pages or so per day. We shall simply soldier on despite being ignored because clearly you folks are finding me SOMEHOW. LOL. Forgive my brief fall into negativity - I’m still grieving really.

Free Printable Coloring Pages

Coloring Pages

Quite a whiles back I mentioned LetMeColor.com as another great source of free coloring pages - only I got the link completely wrong! The blogger kindly wrote me and gently corrected me *blush* so here is it now with the correct link and a mention, too, that there are many categories there besides sports, including horses and ponies.

I started yet another blog this week - Fre-ecards.com blog which is to keep folks updated on the newest additions at Fre-ecards.com. I gave that website a major face lift this week, which it really needed. I set it up some years ago because I love ecards myself and it seemed as if all the free ecard websites on line were going to a very irritating stage of tons of pop-up ads, floating ads, malware, spyware, paid memberships, SPAMMING, you name it. I don’t think they’ve changed much either. Well, fre-ecards.com doesn’t make much of a blip in my income - but it does offer nice, free ecards, mostly with my own artwork or that of friends and family, as well as some things from the public domain and it doesn’t drown you in advertising. Maybe if you enjoy my art, you’ll enjoy the ecards there.

Hi and welcome to the Color-Your-Own.com blog! The main reason for this blog is to keep you updated as new coloring pages are added. I will also share links to other great coloring pages sites.

This week I was on a real pony binge due to a request that actually came in from my Ask Me Anything blog. Someone was seeking a line drawing of a Shetland pony head to embroider on her children’s tack bags and show jackets.

It was really fun to draw all the ponies - and even nicer when she wrote me back and said thanks and that her kids were having a great time coloring all the pages they had found on Color-Your-Own.com.

I also found another wonderful coloring pages site this week that is geared mainly to adults. Let Me Color blog features coloring pages from LetMeColor.com - sort of like this blog! Most of the pages up right now are of various sports such as basketball.

I drop by all of my blogs every Friday (or at least I try to). I love quotes, so this is an excuse for me to share a favorite quote. Since so many people who like Color-Your-Own.com are “horse people” I’d like to share a fun horse quote I found this week:
