I thought maybe if I did something sufficently spammy Google would finally realize this blogs is about FREE PRINTABLE COLORING PAGES.
Four fall leaves for you crafters.
Actually created for one of my new Squidoo lenses - but I may as well share!
If you get a minute, do visit my Squidoo lensography - you might learn a little something about me

The good news for Gorillas is a team recently discovered that we may have twice as many of them still living in their wild habitat in the Congo as we previously thought. Sure, they’re still very endangered, but it is good news. You can read more about it here. When you’re done reading, maybe you would enjoy these two new gorilla coloring pages! Well - I had to celebrate!

Enjoy!
I will get to all the requests, but I am trying to keep some variety in the new pages and not just do all dogs. Anybody want anything else besides dogs? Make a request!

I have a major thing for dragons. I used to draw dragons all day long - when I was in high school I didn’t own a notebook without dozens of dragons in the margins and across the pages. So how come there are no dragons up at Color-Your-Own.com? Good question!
Thus today I remedied that - with three fanciful dragons.
The first is sort of a little pun fun, a Dragon - Fly Coloring Page with a bit of dragon, and a bit of dragonfly. After all, both of them are favorite creatures of mine. The second is a Guardian Dragon Coloring Page. I used to draw these for friends who had nightmares, fears of the dark, or kids that wanted a big strong protector to hang over their bed and keep them safe at night. I left it very plain so you can make the “wall” it is peeking over match your headboard or wall or just whatever.
Last but hardly least is the Lion-tailed Dragon Coloring Page. I have to admit, my dragons take on a life of their own. So I might sit down thinking “something of a Celtic styled dragon would be good” and by the time I’ve got pen to paper (or staff to tablet in this case) he has ideas of his own; “How about goat like horns? And a mane like a horse? And the tail of a lion!” and there you go. Well, I hope you like him!
See ya’ tomorrow!

The person who requested the Fjords asked for Fjord ponies. Since I wasn’t sure, I checked it out on the Internet - seems the Norweigan Fjords are called both horses and ponies, although the registry is called the Norweigan Fjord Horse Registry. So - I’m going with calling them Norweigan Fjord Horses, and you’ll find them in the main index under Horse Coloring Pages (at liberty, and under saddle). With all that sorted out - here they are!

Enjoy! Yes, this is another request - told ya’ I was working on them!

Well, we are at last back to our regularly scheduled program of three new coloring pages every weekday (give or take exciting ranch happenings like loose horses and runaway goats). By request, I’ve added four Welsh Corgi dogs - the Pembroke, Cardigan, and Fluffy, and an irresistible puppy!

These were done in response to a request. If you have a request in, be patient, I’m getting back to work on them today!

It happens every time! Someone requests a pony - and I fall in love with them and end up doing three, or four, or…
Okay, I held it down to “just” three drawings of these wonderful little Newfoundland Ponies.

Newfoundland Ponies are a Rare and Heritage Breed, which means there are very few of them left today - although they were once a popular and thriving breed in Newfoundland. You can read more about them at The Newfoundland Pony Society website.
These were done by request - thanks for the request!
Please note that you are welcome to send more than one request - but I will not do them all at once. I will do one, maybe two, go to the next persons request, maybe do several more, then come back to your list. I want to fulfill as many peoples requests as possible, so I don’t want to get hung up on doing ten or more requests for one person. I will get them all - no problem - but it will be over time. K?
Thanks!

Yes, today I uploaded the 300th coloring page at Color-Your-Own.com! Woohoo! That’s a lot of pages for one person to draw!
I also added another section - by request - rainbows! Here’s the first one of four:

“We need another and a wiser and perhaps a more mystical concept of
animals. In a world older and more complete than ours they move
finished and complete, gifted with extensions of the senses we have
lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They
are not brethren, they are not underlings; they are other nations,
caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners
of the splendor and travail of the earth.”

A beautiful article in the Orion online magazine, Gray Thunder: Listening to Elephants inspired me to add some African Elephants to the coloring pages. There is a bull elephant, upset and about to charge, a mother elephant and her baby, and a walking elephant that looks like she is in a real hurry to get somewhere. Once I started looking, there were elephants everywhere! There is even a blog devoted just to elephants! I hope you enjoy the coloring pages - and do take time to read the article at Orion, too.
I have a really exciting announcement today! My friend the Savvy Auntie has her website up and running - SavvyAuntie.com. It is devoted to women who love children, but have none of their own - the aunties, great aunts, god mothers, and others who have children to love. Among many other wonderful things - you will find some exclusive coloring pages by - yes, me! The coloring pages up at Aunties are NOT on the Color-Your-Own.com site - and they are also in the form of printable PDF files, unlike the ones on my site. Go check them out - and enjoy the great new website, too!
I am still updating old pages - but everything on the new domain, Color-Your-Own.com is up and running. Just means that some pages will have the new look, and some won’t. It takes a bit of time to update almost 300 pages!
If you have any bookmarks that start “http://demented-pixie.com/”, be sure and update them to the new pages! If you want, you can just change the part that says “http://demented-pixie.com/color-your-own/” to say “http://color-your-own.com” and they’ll work just fine as I did not change any of the page names. If you have links to me on your webpages, please update those also! The new site will have some nifty new “link to me” buttons soon, and you can put the blog widget on your own site or start page, too.
Enjoy!
