A nifty little find for greyhound lovers Celebrating Greyhounds Magazine is a magazine devoted to greyhounds, their adopters, rescuers, and friends. It has been highly honored by the Dog Writers Association of America as the best single breed magazine for several years. This is one magazine you'll read cover to cover every month, if you are a greyhound fanatic. I want to say thanks, also this month to Greyhound Friends of Augusta, Inc. for the nice front page link on their site. They've done a very nice job on the website and included some very informative articles, such as the Runaway Club which talks about the danger of greyhounds getting loose - something they are good at and which is particularily dangerous for our beloved hounds. Retired racing hounds often have no clue about traffic or other dangers "out in the real world" after a lifetime on the track. New adoptees - who seem the most likely to get out - are also often least likely to be able to safely find their way home.
