Sri Yukteswar on the fey

I recently finished reading "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paramhansa Yogananda. Being the fey that I am, I was particularily struck by a few paragraphs starting on page 478 in my copy.

Paramhansa Yogananda is visited by his beloved swami, Sri Yukteswar, who had recently died. Sri Yukteswar describes the astral world he now dwells in.

From the book:

"The ordinary astral universe--not the subtler astral heaven of Hiranyaloka--is peopled with millions of astral beings who have come, more or less recently, from the earth, and also with myriads of fairies, mermaids, fishes, animals, goblins, gnomes, demigods and spirits, all residing on different astral planets in accordance with karmic qualifications."

Now there's an astral world I would love to go to between incarnations!

Blessedbe
