Pearlie rarely deigns to concern herself with the future of us puny human slaves, however, when she does, her wisdom is priceless. (Which is why we give it away for free)

Pearlie chose not to share any predictions for 2005 and most of 2006. In hindsight, I realize that this is because our own household would be experiencing grief and upheaval, and snarly as she seems, Pearlie actually hasn't the heart to be the one to tell me these things. She simply waits patiently for them to come, then purrs wisely at me when I pour out my troubles saying "yes, I know, I know, I know...but it really will all get better - see how calm I am?".

As of this update (August of 2006) it looks as if we are facing a move across country. Pearl finds moving particularily upsetting as she very much likes her routine, her feeding bowl placed just so, the water right there, and her favorite perches and hiding places left undisturbed. It is also likely that her PERSONAL computer - the one she had her photo taken with up front there - is going to be retired as it has been working sporadically, if at all. (I believe that great clumps of white cat hair in the hard drive could be the culprit - however, Pearl maintains that these hairs, in fact, improve the connectivity). This is sure to be the source of some upset until we get things settled down. Perhaps when all is well again, Pearl will deign to share more white kitty wisdom with us mere mortals.
